Mine (that of the photo) is a patchwork model, let me explain:

- Jazz Bass Reissue Corps '62 Fiesta Red Japanese color (almost found us).
- Pickups Custom Shop '60 Americans.
- Everything else comes from a Mexican classic Jazz Bass '60 series.
- Monte with strings Thomastik Infield Flatwound Jazz (.043, .053, .070,100).

USE

It's a Jazz Bass, so:

comfort and finesse of the handle, low weight, fast and fluid game.
Thomastik Flatwound strings are fabulous !!!!

SONORITS

Custom Shop pickups are excellent,

Flatwound strings are losing cot energetic and brilliant sound of Jazz Bass Roundwound typically encountered with strings, but turns it into a sound very typ "vintage", powerful and very bass more soft and fluffy which gives the bass a unique sound timbre, like the sound of a bass old 30 or 40 years ...

NOTICE GLOBAL

The trio Mexican Jazz Bass '60, '60 Custom Shop pickups and strings Thomastik Flatwound is perfect. The sound is my taste, fabulous and allows to approach very nearly the sound of jazz bass sixty years.
Add a micro caches and chrome bridge and you look for your back 40 years to results ...

Try this combination if you have the opportunity and if you like to tinker, you will not be the !!!!
