1 Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 1st gen - no signal to programs
Anyone familiar with the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 1st gen? Mine is showing that it has signal but the signal is not making it to the recording programs... updated the firmware on the Focusrite and that did not do anything. any other ideas? maybe something in the settings in the programs (LogicPro, Garageband)... I am running MacOS Sierra 10.12.14. Thanks in advance

I am getting the same problem with the same USB interface. Different hardware, though, I'm running a Windows 10 system.

Anyone have any insight?

Had a similar issue a few weeks ago.
Deinstalled Avast Antivirus fixed this problem for me.
Windows 10 x64. I have no experience with MacOS regarding this issue.

Sorry to hear you're having some problems with your 2i2. The best thing to do is to try trashing the preferences and running the class compliant app on Mac.
