Value For Money : Excellent
I learned on a MPC2500 and has a 1000, I know the akai sensors, and those are honêtes. I used to program four lines on pages 4 pad, or to the emergency drumming to fix an idea (it is not worth it on the pads mpc second generation, especially waist level, but it remains well to make percussive harmony (stabs or other steeldrums))
The MIDI Implementation is simple and configuration software owner (lpd8editor to select notes and cannaux noon each pad) not boring.
just a shame that there have not four pages of knobs ... but it's still good value (40 50eurs a large max)!

Oh, and if you want to see the pads light up when you send in something external midi controlled by it (eg clips lives ....) it's getting a little more subtle ...
mini usb a bit shaky but good price / size / quality always correct (choose the right cable!)
