Pure analog overdrive as the name implies a single goal: send a plexi of the brand popularized by the biggest (well for me) I named the two Jimmy.
The connection is simple, only the routing of the three knobs may surprise at first.
The select knob is only effective if the drive knob is ON, in which case it switches to high gain. Obviously done to avoid having to press two buttons when one wants to spend crunch to high gain and vice versa.
Knobs and casing super quality!
A boost, a high gain channel and a channel from light crunch to distortion hairy!

UTILIZATION

The manual is very basic and even that which is available on the net (which is more complete) is not very informative. But hey! It's like buy a Marshall, you do not care of the manual thoroughly while you doing!

SOUND QUALITY

Here we enter the heart of the matter. I had before I went, a little checker all the forums and I noticed a guy called "Big Sioux Chief" I reckon, kept saying: "if you want the vintage sound Marshall pedals do not stop forcing the Fulltone OCD, but check out the Carl Martin Plexitone ". Yeah ... Fulltone is famous Yankee and all that ... and Plexi Dannois? Y s'fout of not'gueule or what?
Okay, so I call the Pedal to Paris (not no! Michou!) And I found Davy (is it that you are the chef?) Who also advised me to try Plexitone. Neither one nor two, as my friend has an OCD, J'lui j'commande tax and the beast! Three day trial with two pedals. And there whoouuuufff! I pass of course, the pensioners of the village we take the emergency room because of the explosions of hearing aid to get to the point! (Aaaahhhh!) The fact is that after hours of adjustments of all kinds, crossing my amp sound vintage to modern, changes in the stratum scratch, the re LP stratum j't'en and password, bah! Mister Davy he was right! One, the OCD is the ball (see the test), the two Plexitone it is as well, the three Plexitone he did much better! Blues sounds through all the crunches in Frushiante Hendrix Jimmy Page through both pedals are equal in sound quality in grain. A little better all p'tit for OCD in very blues sounds. Now for what is sounds that tear her pussy to your grandmother! There are no photo! You can go with the Plexitone where you will never go with OCD. In pure vintage sounds hardos, a good old "Smoke on the Water" at the Start! With LP, you can revisit the "Ocean", "Whole Lotta Love" and other sound you got the master! on the other hand, too careful not to boost the treble on the clean sound of the amp, the pedal takes care of.
Come on, a final adjustment that put me on the ass, stratum 3, 4 in volume, the micro serious crunch the amp at 8 am strong enough and miracle when you play "Under the bridge" it looks like the Red Hot!

OVERALL OPINION

Finally, those without a marshall and want to have this sound in their range without the booklet A fart, go ahead with his eyes closed! And it's not you, it's the crunch, the high gain, both with or without boost, and even boost the sound clear. And what I reckon even without a program to spin wool! So!

Matos: 76 Start, Gibson LP, Rivera KnuckleHead 55, axis fuzz RM Voodoo Vibe RM, tube screamer, whammy, cry baby, Jamman.
