OVERALL OPINION

I, unwanted for 1 years & 6 months.
I tried no other controller as Korg: the nanoKEY, Roland Edirol: PCR-300.
Sound quality, flexible, easy to use ... ect
I do again my choice for Akai.

The price!

UTILIZATION

The keyboard is not at all pleasant but do not expect too much of a product less than 50 Euros.
The manual is a distressing poverty, even the soft version.
Regarding configuration, well here just does not work. I followed the procedure at any point (I even checked and compared the instructions in French and English), I tried to install it on two different ordis (PC) with two different software (Cubase and Samplitude) nothing no sign of life, controls hard does not affect Alike on the screen.
I thought that here would be a mere formality, it is a chore devnu obliged to return the phone calls to the seller.
Ah yes, I forgot, I contacted the customer service Akai, I was told after 4 days to ask me if they could call me, of course I said yes, and then no appeal.

OVERALL OPINION

Obviously I do not like anything, and the price / quality ratio for a device that does not work, it is of course zero.

I was looking for a master keyboard small to place on my desk next to my keyboard (I could connect my Roland Juno-G but the size is not very practical in this case). It connects via USB directly to the computer.

UTILIZATION

The feel is related to the price of the keyboard: all plastic and at a cost of € 39. It is cheap but we know we not buy a high end for the price. It is very easy to use (in its grip as its installation: plug and play).

I use it for a few weeks and it suits me perfectly. I have not tried other keyboard except the Fame of the same kind (such high quality). It is compact and that's why I wanted this format. Value for money quite honest. I would do this choice without hesitation: he does what he is asked and that's what matters to me ...

The hit is probably the best you can find at this price and for a keyboard of this size ..
There is nothing to configure and nothing to read in the manual .. It's plug n play. There are some buttons that can be interesting .. Sustain, Tap Tempo, an arpeggiator and a few other options as well but I admit having used only keys.

I can be for 2 years because I was planning a move abroad and I now use it only while traveling on the train, plane ..
I have not tried the other one before but I think it's all down in price and quality of manufacture (which is good).
It still lacks a pitch wheel and modulation.

If strut again, for the trip, I would be the CME X-bit key that is ready to the same size with large keys or Korg Nanokey 2 because it is even smaller.
For a home studio does not fit because the mini-keys are not made for regular use and there are no wheels ..... If this is this case I would go on an M-Audio Oxygen 25 or Axiom 25 but it is not given ..

yes and no, I usually play on a M50 88 ... we are obviously disappointed but the keyboard is very easy to play and ask a component do not ask more than that

Easy to use, convenient for a small home studio to make bass lines, melodies and even agreements. To solos on the other hand I use a midi keyboard with more keys and octave size standarts.

I use it for a year in a lot of prods that are now out. As what we can suffice him as usual.

Everything depends on the style of music that you eventually. But it has its uses to make lines, riffs, gimmicks and simple chords. It does not take place. In short, it has flaws when used for what it is not.

Use Wisely for all the potential it has.

It has a good value for money, it is quite robust. Only the cable noon is fragile, twelve o'clock USB plug has not resisted the use of my 3 year old son ... This is unfortunate for portable equipment that should be increuvable.
