UTILIZATION

I picked this guitar up and was thoroughly perplexed. It was nice! But it said Fender on the headstock! Not to be a jerk here, but I had never ever encountered a good Fender acoustic guitar until I saw this. The body size is like a dream - this guitar is incredibly comfortable to play, and the neck is super fast!

SOUNDS

This little beast screams! The acoustic tone is bold, bright, and still has a depth to the low end. Also, the acoustic pickup system is very basic, but it sounds nice through an amp or PA.

OVERALL OPINION

I never thought I'd say this, but this is a Fender acoustic guitar that is actually really good! I've loved their amps and electrics for a long time, but the acoustic guitars have had poor quality materials and/or design issues in the past. This guitar firmly cements Fenders place as a maker of nice, playable acoustic guitars. At $299 street price, this is an innovative little guitar! The tribal graphic is cheesy (really, Fender?), but the rest of the guitar is so nice it makes me forgive the designer.
