The Tombstone brand is known for its instrument cases, but ESP will also design acoustic-electric guitars under the same name.

ESP debuts at NAMM a new division of electric-acoustic guitars sold under the Tombstone brand, the same name used for their case department. The 7 guitars and one bass that will be introduced in Anaheim have a classic look with dovetail set-in necks.

The entry-level A-300E and A-430E are Auditorium-size guitars with Sitka spruce tops. The first has mahogany back and sides with a Black finish and it includes a B-Band T-35 preamp with built-in tuner. The second uses rosewood for the back and sides, with a Natural Gloss finish and the preamp is a Fishman Isys+ with built-in tuner.

The D-320E and D-430E are Dreadnought guitars for those who want more acoustic volume. The first instrument features a solid red cedar top, ovangkol back and sides with a Natural Satin finish, while the D-430E has a Sitka spruce top, rosewood back and sides with Natural Gloss finish and gold tuners. The preamp employed is a Fishman Isys+.

If you like Jumbo cutaway models, the J-310E and J-430E have solid Sitka spruce tops. Back and sides of the first guitar are made of sapele with Natural Satin finish, the second has rosewood back and sides with Natural Gloss finish.

Tombstone also introduces the George Lynch Signature GL-2E, another Jumbo non cutaway model with a well-known Mustache bridge and Tobacco Sunburst finish (guess where they found the inspiration?). The guitar has a solid Sitka spruce top, flamed maple back and sides, 5-piece maple/walnut neck, rosewood fingerboard and Fishman Presys+ preamp.

Last, bassists can discover the JB-320E, a jumbo cutaway bass with a red cedar top, ovangkol back and sides and Fishman Presys+ preamp.
