Fender debuts a new series of combo amps for acoustic-electric guitars, which includes two 200W and 160W models.
The new Fender Acoustic Pro and Acoustic SFX are two-channel combo amps that provide 200W and 160W (2x80W) respectively. Both amps can receive acoustic-electric guitars as well as microphones, thanks to the 1/4” and XLR inputs. 1/8” Aux input and headphone outputs are also available, along with an XLR line output with ground lift switch and dedicated level control.
As for the controls, the amps includes volume, 4-band EQ and phase switch. The Acoustic Pro features a reverb and the Acoustic SFX a full effect section with tempo-syncable delay, chorus, Vibratone and reverb. This section is completed with levels on each channel. This amp also includes a master volume control for the onboard SFX (Stereo Field Expansion) technology which, according to Fender, creates a wide, deep and dynamic sound.
Both Fender Acoustic Pro and Acoustic SFX have a multiply wood frame with Natural Blonde finish and a brown grille cloth behind which you’ll find two 8” and 6.5” speakers in the Acoustic SFX and a single 12” Fender Special Design in the Acoustic Pro. The latter also features a tilt-back system and a handle is present on both amps. A protective fitted cover is provided and an optional two-button footswitch is available for effect control.
