«  A multi effect Acoustic actually ... »

Published on 01/23/14 at 01:38
Multi effect pedal guitar big screen, all-digital, powered by standard 9v memory (I write in 2014 to review a tool that I used in 2004, 2005, so be indulgent!)

It is edited by mac and pc, which eventually can turn it into electrical MAGICSTOMP or exchanging sound files with other musicians. This is done by USB.

Jack in, jack out, and roll youth!

UTILIZATION

We can not say that it is simple in use (I do not enter into the debate "effects they are useful on a folk?"). As these multi effects, it is home studio (which at the time was not as developed), but live, must manage its pre-sets, which are in a defined order, we can not as one wishes to navigate inside the machine.

Regarding the issue, it has 3 knobs on the machine, so it is of interest that the three settings available are the ones you want to modify. Because on a computer you have access to a multitude of settings, inaccessible live (unless you have the laptop in hand, it becomes complicated for a normal acoustic guitar)

So in terms of use, live, it's complicated.

SOUND QUALITY

Regarding base effects, digital effects emulating chorus, reverb, delay etc. are well-crafted, it is the strong point. In contrast, the saturation findable on the net, they are generally bee and clutter, in all cases with an acoustic. After that, let's be honest, as an acoustic guitarist, generally it needs 2 or 3 presets, that's all. So far have, in my opinion, three effects pedals dedicated.

OVERALL OPINION

I kept two or three years. I love the box next to tools that would be useful in the studio, but I do not like his evil side usable live. After the value for money is pretty good, but I quickly abandoned the side effects on acoustic actually.
