Grand piano (long).

I needed a "real" piano for my music exams (before I had an old upright Rösler pretty terrible) I went with a friend advised by a dealer (Piano Schaeffer Nancy if you want to know) telling them that I was looking for a piano study at my level and I proposed this model. He was 20 years old but had hardly ever used a bargain.

Its level, no problem, it's the way I like. Soft in low and punchy shades but not too strong in the nuances. The bass is sometimes a little overwhelming and sometimes a little sharp scream, but take into account the fact that I play in a sort of quite resonant hall.

Invoice level, this is the good enough job. The table is pretty well set, the key sinks it takes the dampers do not make too much noise (if not let go of his foot like a nag, of course).

However, sometimes the (exhaust hammer actually) make some noise (especially in times of drought a little too high). It is not unduly disturbing but ........ are.

I do not know if it's my model or range, but the instrument quite work: small changes in humidity or temperature can affect the agreement of the piano more or less widely, so to watch.

Overall, it is fun to play: it fills the space well, the keys are not hard and help develop his technique (which is a leap forward thanks to him) and at the same time it leaves much room for search of his (what I like, basically).

I have used similar models in concert, but I do not know if this is a relevant choice. I think despite the label "C" (for the concert, it seems to me) it is mainly a good piano study: he works too much to be lugged from one room to another and its not enough to fill a large room (in my opinion), but in terms of his piano work, do not hesitate!

I use a C3 for about 6 months. I was lucky to find an ag a little less than 2 years and then stabilized and a MODEL rcent.
I really like the Yamaha mcanique. The touch is enjoyable and closes without any hardness. Ct sound, depth and roundness of the same with any of agus clear enough. Those who like to say they are brilliant, and those who do not strident. That case got ... The midrange is rich, and excellent bass, or even surprising on a piano in this range. It was generally a high-class instrument in terms of price. I could compare it with a CFIIIS. Obviously, there is no picture, but not ct price! Report qualitprix trs really good.
I m'tais dpart to orient towards a Kawai, but trying the C3, I changed my mind

How long have you use it?

I possde a C3 a few months since. It's a piano that was used in almost new lease together for two months.

Before this purchase (consquent!), I have tried many pianos starting from China and Japan to end the Germans (Bechstein, SKIP) and Steinway, but that the Exceeds my budget!

Have you tried many other models before acqurir?

In fact the choice was between a and P3 PETROF YAMAHA C3. The PETROF may be suprieur harmonically especially in the directory against romantic but for the players and jazz variation on, the brightness of the Yamaha is much more enjoyable.
Cot mcanique, I find the C3 (or C6 that I tried too) Excellent, a precision and an enjoyable lgret trs.
How do you report qualitprix?
Even if the investment is important, quality price ratio ke trs good with the assurance that this is no surprise SERIES Conservatory, trs old well and in conservatories and trsrpandu School of Music. Another fact: in the proposed lease together, you systmtiquement a C3 or C6 of place.
It becomes a must-REFERENCE.
Moreover, the occasions are rare and tend to sell littralement

What is the particular feature you like best and least?

This is not the best piano in the world (try one day a Steiway MODEL B (2, 11 m) and feel what "exceptional piano") but has the advantage of not having to defects and especially to be a working tool and INTERPRETATION.

Yes, if I or other means, why not a C6 (not the C5 is not great), or C7

The Yamaha C3 is a grand acoustic piano that has all the modern features and design that a great acoustic piano should.  It has 88 keys, three pedals, and is quite large in size overall.  I have used this piano in my school's recording studio for doing overdubs and I love the sound that this piano has.  It is easy to play as it feels good the fingers and a I feel confident while I'm playing it.  I'll usually get a stereo spread of the piano using a pair of large diaphragm condenser microphones and this gets me an extremely wide piano sound.  It is actually pretty easy to get a good sound from the Yamaha C3 as it has a full sound that is suitable for a variety of different genres.  I've used the piano for recording rock, pop, and folk music for the most part as that is what I play, but I definitely think that it would make for a great piano for recording classical and jazz music as well.  I assume that if you are thinking about buying a grand acoustic piano that you understand you will be paying a decent amount of money as any good piano like this will.  This being said, when compared to some of the other acoustic pianos out there in this quality range, this is actually a great deal.  Since Yamaha is such a large company they can afford to mass produce these pianos and sell them at an extremely low cost like this, even if it seems like a lot of money to those unfamiliar with the world of acoustic grands.  Yamaha definitely knows what they are doing as they got their start making pianos, and the C3 is a great example of the quality of work that they are capable of.  This piano is worth a look for anyone who wants an acoustic grand piano!
