Analog Modeling Synth from Korg belonging to the micro series

Korg announces limited edition color variations for the MicroKorg and other products in the Micro series.

A Full Black model sports a black panel and black finish on both the natural and sharp keys, and the Black & Red model features a black and red panel with black naturals and red sharps.

The limited edition color lineup includes a total of four products: the MicroKorg Limited Edition, the compact MicroKey 25 Limited Edition and MicroKey 37 Limited Edition USB controllers, plus the new MicroKorg XL+ Limited Edition with its updated sounds and design. The MicroKorg XL+ also comes in a “vintage look” that includes brushed black panel and knobs with traditional key colors. Both variations contain a reimagined palette of analog modeled sounds plus new dedicated PCM for Korg’s SGProX piano and M1 organ, as well as VOX organs and recognizable “Tape” instruments.

The Korg limited edition color variations are being offered at select U.S. retailers, with pricing and availability as follows:

  • MicroKorg Limited Edition – late November 2012; U.S. Street $399.99
  • MicroKorg XL+ Limited Edition – late November 2012; U.S. Street $499.99
  • MicroKey-25 Limited Edition – late October 2012; U.S. Street $69.99

Quiet a weak answer to The New novation Mininova.
The facts: It s Ugly ,cost more than the Mininova,Has less feature and weaker sounds

It is also made of plastic while the Novation MiniNova is made of solid metal!!

It is not USB Powerd ....Korg need a bit more Fantaisie...and got Beaten by Novation.Period!!
