More than a year and a half after its announcement, the eagerly-awaited Waldorf Pulse 2 analog synth is finally available.
Pulse 2 had been introduced at Winter NAMM 2012 (see this news), it's now finally hitting
the stores with a retail price of 489€ incl. VAT.
Pulse 2 retains from Pulse and Pulse + the three oscillators as well as the cascaded filter with new high and low-pass modes.
4/8 voices paraphonic mode, noise generator, FM filter, ring modulation, arpeggiator and modulation matrix are also on the menu, as well as an XOR Osc mode (combines two oscillators PWM to two distinct output levels), and 500 sound programs are included.
Users of the original Pulse can transfer their sounds to the new version via a MIDI Dump.
Connectors available on Pulse 2 include a MIDI port, a USB port, analog input, stereo line output and headphone output, along with the traditional CVs.
