2 CSO has a synth with an architecture close to the Moog Prodigy.
A small keyboard,
Both calves.
See opinion for Previous CHARACTERISTICS overall. Note that a new OS is released and adds tons of modulation possibilities, an auto-tune and full of interesting features and it is free (see www.moogmusic.com).
The carracteristiques for a mono synth 2 CSOs are in the standard, the screen is a bit small and the keyboard a little short for big solos ...

UTILIZATION

The OS is stable and trs with the editor (a $ 69 purchase in addition) it is super functional.
Ergonomics is simply outstanding. CRER sounds can more easily and faster than the Minimoog.
The manual is adequate and there is a DVD Retailer Moog with tutorials in English.
It is small enough to be portable scene, and really solid trs.

SOUNDS

This little device I bluff. As much as I thought the Moog had watched her, because I do not like the sound of the Voyager.
Here we approach a Studio Electronics at the precision of sound. It sounds MUCH more current than the Voyager. Is that Grandpa made his rvrence Moog? Young people have finished the project and feels it.
There are sounds of drums for the Hip-hop (which can rgler with the wheel) the exploding kind Bafle puiooooommmmmm ... finally have to listen.
The bass is monstrous. They pierce the mix, currently has an ATC-X or X-SE1 nothing outperforms the Little Fatty.
Frankly for bass and leads, it is the top. And filter by Lollipop and like no other synth has a Minimoog hand of course ... So + + + + for sound.

OVERALL OPINION

BIG surprise. I expected a reduced version of the Minimoog and this is another sound that comes out of the BTE.
I find it more contemporary, with a more modern sound, the presets are all useable rev, it is super stable at the level of the OS, so I'm impressed trs.
The price is twice infrieur a Minimoog Voyager and I think the sound is better ... So frankly, do not believe that the Voyager is better, it's two different synth. The Phatty is for use today, to rap, R & B Techno Hip-Hop, while the Voyager is more to progressive rock and nostalgic Yes and Genesis. The Phatty sounds Dr.Dre a full tube.
