«  Very good for low fat good »

Value For Money : Excellent
It is full of buttons and sliders out of sight, the amateur ergonomic analog enjoy. it gives the creative desire to see all these things to touch!

CV / GATE IN and OUT, that offered little synths.

my serial number (late model) would imply that I have a filter different from those produced in a first time.

UTILIZATION

Edition of its "on Roland's 70". Very cool mix the audio CSO / SUBOSC / NOISE / EXT.SIGN, we can achieve a lot of textures with it.

The sliders do not have a very fine tactile response, they are downright cheap and very accurate. The rotary knobs are doing much better, plus they have a charming vintage look pretty cute ...

SOUNDS

The sound of the oscillator is beautiful, though now much fat, especially in the bass, it's easy to sub-bass through the sub-oscillator that can mix with the main oscillator. On this side it has nothing to envy to a minimoog (if not an oscillator more!)

As against the filter (with the serial number) is less enticing self-oscillation, it gets loud and hard to control. Echoing a little more moderate one arrives to make a "liquid" and "acid" quite successful with a good terrain and good meaty material well.
But above all without any resonance in the bass synth that explodes, you get a punch in the stomach feeling greasy power worthy of a MS-20, a Minimoog or Arp Odyssey.

OVERALL OPINION

Nice to play the keyboard by controlling expanders analog CV / Gate.
Bassline oriented, but very complete. Will also be a saw-tooth "cheesy" high-pitched (gangsta style hip hop).

More presence and power that a SH-101, wilder, too.

I do not regret it, it provides good musical emotions.
