I have since the end of June 2012. I have not tried any external interface before, I chose this one ... more or less at random if I remember correctly ...
I can not really judge the value for money, € 30 at the beginning it seemed expensive for a plastic shell with two entrances Jack (6.5 and 3.5) and a 3.5 jack plug. But given the more intensive use that I made, it is a good investment. Indeed, the subject inspires confidence not necessarily initially a sounding hollow plastic cylinder ... but in the end it seems to take the shock, and then fixing the jack plug is pretty damn with a flexible plastic ring to prevent premature termination of the cable. Various inputs and outputs are placed in a practical way and the fact that this is really tiny iRig really shows it is made to be carted around when we want to maquetter between two trains, traveling, etc..
After level sound quality all depends on what you put behind. I use it with iRig 5 on Mac Pro JamUp and iPod Touch, and it suits me when I'm traveling / moving, however sustainable solution at home I'm not convinced.
What I like most: ergonomics, weight, height.
What I like least: the look cheap.

to sound out properly, it does not plug and play
first put the iPhone in airplane mode to lighten his workload and eliminate some interference

I already IRIG twelve o'clock so I stay ik multimedia
what I like most is being able to test my sounds and put my ideas without using my pc. I often play a MIDI break in my wardrobe, it's great with garageband
this is a little "gadget", but compared to the vox Amplug I have a range of effects and recording with garageband
replace those who think a good old amp 100w lamp with an app back on earth.
this is a great thing for a nomad these ideas pose for a repeat or live must not dream
I remake this choice for simplicity, the price (30 euros with shipping), the practical use of mobile
I do not put any good because the products are perfect exixtent not, and that the (AmpliTube above) is perfectible

Installation without a problem, I bought the full version of AmpliTube Iphone with.
Some recommendations:
- Go in airplane mode to avoid having crackling noise from time to time
- I disable anti larsen (otherwise the sound was much more low-medium)

I used it plugged into a docking station and a JBL On Stage Godin LGXT, push the volume so that it sounds.
The sound is frankly very correct especially the amp clean when you add the overdrive pedal. In comparison with the pocket pod line 6 (same kind of mobile use and significantly more expensive) there is no picture, I think the sound has more grain and it is much easier to get what sought. There are 36 preset locations for storing what is comfortable.
Side latency is quite honest. The ability to download tracks (eg drum loops) to play on is a real plus.

I use it for 10 days and frankly I do not regret my purchase.
I find the UI very successful.
Side criticism: it lacks a compressor and an overall volume a little more generous was not too particular sounds clean.

It runs on iPhone 3G ios 4.2 and it works not bad, it's true that there's breath but you hear very well the volume. We certainly need the full version because there's the LE and a FREE version.
With the bass it rocks a lot because it happens to mitigate the blast. The pedals are very good. I think the iphone because it is better to turn again, everything comes to machine as it is normal. you can adjust the input gain and output and the amp itself and edit sound from the iphone then frankly we really hear the loud, albeit with a few blows but it used to train after everyone sees her door at noon to help.
It is worth its price 40 €.
I'm happy, you can buy extra pedals for 2 € to about 50, compressor type, limit, parametric equalizer etc..
This is the start of this stuff it only asks once then change in the IRIG pocket you can always upgrade to the best software versions, perhaps on IPAD it works even better who knows.
I put in airplane mode to make sure you do not have any interference.

I've had one day and so far I have tried nothing else, I await the Vox AC30. I like the octave it tears.
I certainly would do that choice. Know what you buy, it blows a bit but it works!
