Tech21 will launch this year two new versions of the VT Bass preamps, a rackable one and another one with a DI.
The new SansAmp Character VT Bass DI and VT Bass Rack are based on the VT Bass / Deluxe versions, with added features. The sound will remain the same as the original version and you will get the same analog circuit, the 3-band EQ and the Character setting.
New features include a Blend control that mixes the dry signal with the signal processed by the SansAmp circuit. The VT Bass DI also features a Bite switch that will boost the treble and three 1/4", XLR and Parallel inputs.
The VT Bass Rack has an additional level control for the XLR output, an effect loop with a 50/50 Mix switch for parallel/series operation, and a direct XLR buffered output. This version will fit into a 19" 1U rack.
The street price of the VT Bass DI is $209 and $329 for the VT Bass Rack. You’ll find more details soon on www.tech21nyc.com.
