UTILIZATION

Configuration easier if you can call it a configuration.
You even flat branches (no effect without equa without drive) has sounded!
Just a few rglages the rotary to find his sound, trs prcises qualisations are IMMEDIATE and heard, I think it's the strength of this amp head is very sractive.

SOUNDS

I bought an old version (without food phantme), and frankly I have total confidence in this amp I use a Musicman Stingray and I can play anything: walking, mdiator, slap , tapping, everything is restored.
a will of his old style of swinging London in Gainsbourg's Modern genre Franz Ferdinand.
For the hardcore mtal or a wide pass, only to find his sound.
What I flat in this amp is its versatility, and precision: a few knobs, but the quality is the point bar.
This is the style Ampeg be without a competitor that's all.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 years with a body Ampeg SVT 15 E and also a Bass Synth Electroharmonix indeed, and I think I have a good config for my fawn to play it tight deadlines is a good mat riel and there are always better and there will always be better !!!!!!!!!!!!!
For play diffrent kinds heads amp (Hartke, Marshall, Trace Elliot, Peavey) I like some SWR, Ampeg Fender and some I think it's not bad.
It is a good buy for that is ready to pay the price but I think we need a good harmony between Low / Tte amplifier / Corps.
To have to try this amp head on a body Hartke sais.Hartke I know what is not at all a sound I'm looking for (jazz / rock / exprimental)
In conclusion it is a good buy especially trs occasion in 10 years this amp worth its weight cf bte the transformer is of good quality considering the size.
Who says good transformer, said good sound and not age well?
