samael94's review - Ibanez IBZ10B

This is a transistor amplifier of 10 watts for bass. It has an instrument input and output phone. As for settings, there are 4 knob EQ (low, mid, treble, presence) and one volume. For the price, it's pretty good ...

With five pots, it was not really needed her gallery to find a suitable. Of course, if one seeks a precise sound for "how to play ..." or else it will not be possible. As a guide, I received two sheets of paper. The only thing to draw is an insert with equalization schemes based on his research that one. But good at the same time must not be removed from Polytechnic to run this kind of amp: one branch is lit and it sends the sound ...

This amp is fairly neutral in terms of sound reproduction. Then the equalization plays its part and we can nab a lot of nice sounds. Good course with 10 watts is a serious lack of power but good for me into my apartment or accompany someone to the acoustic guitar is no problemo. However, should not even try to bring it in rehearsal: 10 watts it is not worth it.

I use it for a little over a year and I am very happy. It is very small and can be brought everywhere (on vacation, at a party with friends ...) but relatively quickly reached its limits in terms of power. I had not tried other models before buying it but I have had the opportunity to try other since and in price / quality ratio, it is almost unbeatable. This choice I would do without hesitation and I recommend it to all bass players beginners or those who seek a little amp cheap and fun to play alone.
