I work with the Roland format (native format of the collection). The Akai format is, for the rest, I do not know.
The CD contains low multisamples (all is very well), but also the reasons for low jous by these monsters are Marcus Miller, Abraham Laboriel and John Pattitucci, each phrase is played in 12 Tone s to allow grids to meet the harmonics of the song.

SOUND QUALITY

The bass sounds are beautiful, extremely Varis (jazz, rock, fusion, new age, anything is possible). A reference for jazz bass (very round and well Dfine trs, trs it goes well in any mix), the "Old Bass AL", super nice, the fretless (with a "Jaco Bass, "a tribute ...), etc. ...
Musical phrases are often interresting. If, for affinity I use mostly those of Marcus Miller, all is nanmoins musicla and easy to use: you hold the tempo of the squence indicated for the loop, and enter the lower of its schedule squenant in the discussions on the squence (everything is binary, with a strong inclination to funk, jazz, Latin music. Pattitucci offers some rock bass). These are the only loops "ready made" which I never used because trs musical, and motivating.

OVERALL OPINION

I must have purchased this collection there are more than eight years. It's always my prfre. With it, my electric basses are always perfect. It is only by complte synths or bass instruments of the orchestra for this register.
