Good morning.

After starting stormy the weather returns to this product.

In my case, the bad experiences from the beginning were due to the firmware of the machine.

Indeed, initially, I experienced the bad:

- Click digital very common at the start of the 'network', even if the audio file starts with white, while the same files read by winamp or vlc player own)

- Setting difficult (only compressed files).

- Sometimes at the start of a file system, the presence of a residual sample of a few ms before the normal startup sound. (Buffer not empty)
Fortunately the support DENON FRANCE has taken the problem head on and experiment with various files have been made in Europe and Japan.

Finally, after four days of research and the firmrwares 2 update, the machine works perfectly. (Thank you again to Philippe de Denon)

Plus any problems reading network
(The CD is 100% functional from the beginning.)

Finally, nice little feature that I forgot to mention here, a CD can be ripped to the shared directory. Very handy.

Only negative but a priori because of the format, MPEG files are difficult to stall if you want to edit the autocue, but enough to get a fast start and precise, so all is well.

In view of these factors, the price is competitive, to 600 Euros.

One of the few readers 'slim' market, many other brands have stopped this type of product 1U.

Note:

firmware to be used (for now) and that works perfectly is the A-1.21
September 26, 2007.

The update is very simple, just burn a CD with the BIN file to the root.

After loading, the machine asks "update firmware?" and must be validated by giving a push on the dial.

The update takes about 2 minutes.
