A friend has asked me if I can remove the oboe (melody) part from this track that he wants to use as a backing track at a wedding.Is this feasible using Melodyne I have downloaded the trial version but not having much success.Any tips ?? or as the thread title implies am I just wasting my time.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8DO8Sg-3hU

Melodyne can't cancel out melodies or focals.
{as far as I know}

Itcan be done... But you need other tools...
