Meyer Sound will release in February, 2014, a new digital sound processor in the Galileo Callisto Series.

Named Galileo Callisto 616 AES, this new version allows for driving the Meyer Sound line arrays with a dual hardware and software solution. It can also be used as a main mastering processor in order to send digital audio to the Meyer “satellite” processors of the series, namely Galileo Callisto 616 and 408, for along with analog inputs and outputs, the 616 AES offers AES 3 connections.

As a mastering tool, you get a U-Shaping 5-band EQ with adjustable slops, widths and gains, 5 parametric filters on each output and additional Tru-Shaping 5-band parametric filters and EQ on each input. Other features include automatic aligning for the Meyer line arrays, atmospheric correction and more.

The Galileo Callisto 616 AES works in tandem with the Compass software on both Mac and PC via Ethernet connection.
