1 Focusrite Claret 8Pre - low output from phantom power mic channel.
Hi..someone - please help me.
I have connected my condenser mic to input 1 in front of my Clarett8pre. I have turned on my 48V for the input channel. My Clarett8pre are connected to my DAW (proTools). The input from the mic are extremely low. I have to turn the channel knob to 9 before my meters react (with noise)?

The focusrite preamps should be some of the best, but they seems to be very insensitive.
Or am i wrong with my settings. What am i doing wrong???

I used digiDesign m box years ago, with same mic and same DAW, but without any problems.
