128 effects in all it seems to me, from reverb, delay in, really very full They are more or less ditable priori, but this function is limited.
For USB connectivity, RCA, jack, noon, nikel for me.

USE

Configuration is very simple and sufficient manual for basic functions.
To edit the effects and, very intuitive.

SOUND QUALITY

I have not a small decrease in sound effects and a lightweight breath. on the other hand I found the effects of very good quality.

NOTICE GLOBAL

I use it for a week so I'm not sure to be objective I found was excellent and very intuitive, I had a good shine all week. But personally, I do not live, and I think this tool is perfect for live (and an essential thing for beatboxer) for the mao, um, it's possible to turn it into MIDI controller has can be very nice (I'm a bit allergic to DIFFERENT knobs for effect and was looking for a more intuitive thing to order).
But I'm not sure it is an indispensable tool for mao. on the other hand to live, I find really excellent, and for those who can afford it, it is almost indispensable

The Korg KP3 KAOSS Pad will allow you to edit your sounds in real time with X/Y controls, it has 128 programs and you can sample right on the Korg KP3 KAOSS Pad. It has some really good effects that come stock on it, and for 330 USD makes it a must have for a DJ. There are a number of effects that are tempo based which has really helped me out during a live performance. You can also use the Korg KP3 KAOSS Pad as a MIDI controller.

UTILIZATION

The Korg KP3 KAOSS Pad does provide a nice and rather cool visual to it when you are using it, if you are using it in a live setting in a club or darker venue it will look pretty cool and even the people around you will feel the same way.

SOUND QUALITY

The Korg KP3 has 128 powerful sounding effect programs; it has all of the basic effects like reverb, delays, flangers and others. But it also has some really new and surprising effects like the analog filter and tone building drive circuit.

OVERALL OPINION

The Korg KP3 KAOSS Pad is well built; it has everything you need for a live show. The built in vocoder is awesome for all of your vocal effects. If you are in need of a machine that will give you full control and a bunch of FX’s then this is what you need. I have been using the Korg KP3 KAOSS Pad for over a year now and I use it at every single show that I do. It has become one of the main focal points of my setup. It is portable and very stable, it only weighs a couple pounds and it comes with a protective sheet for the touch pad. If you take care of this unit it will last you a long time and you will have no issues with it.

UTILIZATION

ultra simple interface, ergonomics top. effective.

the kaoss pad seems to be a gimmick, I bought it by chance on a whim .. no regrets.
he just changed the way I work my live electro-house .. associated with mpc, it also controls via midi (mpc on bone dd 2XL!) is really cool.

SOUND QUALITY

it sounds as presets korg .. digital mainstream. but not editable parameters, so we made do.

are quite a few effects which I do not use it (128 fx in all), sounds "synth" are for me very insufficient, I would have liked the sounds of the KAOSSILATOR included with customizable scales .. but hey, you have to buy one too .. kp I suddenly control of waveform in the mpc midi with KP, and there is nickel. japan jenius thank you!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 months. 9a looks tough, no prob.

for me:
MPC 1 + 1 = KAOSSPAD minimal kit to make live electro, solid and reliable, and that fits in a bag! (Well, need to add a rack of compressors sidechainer and also compress the overall mix .. it's been a bag and a suitcase.)

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use, you run your finger pads on the beautiful light and all is well.
the manual seemed pretty clear but I really do not need.

SOUND QUALITY

The different effects are good, you can do what we want, integrate them in several styles of music: dub, techno, housemusic, minimal, reggae, ect ...
I especially like using the multi-effects: I plug in either a direct line of my technics turntables, a synth, a drum machine and sends the effects on my sound source.
J uses the above delay, the effects of closures, glitches ...
J likes least the "instrument" with synth rhythms, too limited ... but hey, do not c why.

OVERALL OPINION

I used the last few years already and I m tired of it, is easy c, c is practical, it looks good, you can add him n any sound source, you can sample with I n uses no computer not the editor that comes with it but I find MIDI with the sampling not terrible, I have the lag ... BUT I Repette I use exclusively in multi-effects should not ask too much for sampling groovebox roland j have my 808 which done his job perfectly.
Good value for money has bought cologne for second hand 290 then ...

Well I will not dwell on this, it is a multi effects controllable finger used for a little while. Some sounds sythés, some drums, etc..

UTILIZATION

The general config is pretty simple, you plug it chooses its effect, and slides his finger. Other features are rather well explained in the book. It's like everything is working ca. But I find that ca be worked rather easily.

SOUND QUALITY

I use with my synths. These effects, so if that's ugly between the sound output will be ugly. However, it can bring a lot to her! It has fishing!! It gives the dynamics, terrain, and all that stuff a little subjective.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two years. This is a really fun tool that has its place in any config. It is a kind of Swiss army knife of sound, quite interesting. It helps the creativity. I'm not using my expectations, but I used to lots of other things. I truly wanted to use multi effects to work the audio output to synths, without having to edit. it is doable but it's not in his interest. It is really made to slide the finger, fun, make people soar.

UTILIZATION

The config is pretty simple overall, feeling all the gear is now available and we have fun on the touchpad!

But the manual is still in development, especially to absorb the function sampler in my case, but the manual is pretty clear it, some further explanation of refusal was not

But the editing of sounds is quite simple in itself! There is much less intuitive than the material Korg!

SOUND QUALITY

Some effects are of rare efficiency, has provided you have the appropriate fingering and not too abused, some function as the "hold" are very useful.

OVERALL OPINION

Been used for about a year

Never tried other models before, this is my first multi-effects, touch more ... I just have to try different effects included in the mixer or mixers DJ box with a built-effects ..

I love the ergonomics and the touch pad used with some effect, but do not abuse it too is very important, the sampler is something really great, and memory card slot for the samples, really useful although seen by Korg!

The almost complete MIDI implementation is a good place, especially for the live of course, missing more than a MIDI Through, as the ESX and EMX, for example.

What I like least is certain effects that are not a little, suddenly we are confined often use the same range of effect, which is a little wrong for diversity made, and the excessive sensitivity of the grafted level, the diode passes very often in the red too quickly, so watch at the right setting for your liveset!

Hate to see what gives the last Kaoss that come out ... The KP3 is still a sacred little bug, is trying to adopt even if it is just perfected it really makes the effect ^ ^
