Korg will launch in november a mini rhythm machine for musicians who need a rhythmic accompaniment.
The Korg KR Mini Rhythm Machine is a very compact box running on 3 AA batteries with built-in 2W speaker designed for any guitar, bass players, pianists or nomad musicians who need accompaniment to play on the street or practice at home.
It features 60 different rhythm patterns, including 8 and 16-beat, rock and pop genres, with 6 patterns for each genre. 8 song patterns containing various length drum parts are also included.
The KR Mini Rhythm Machine features a recorder so you can tap in and save 6 user beats and a chain function allows for arranging rhythm patterns and fill-ins to create complete songs.
The KR Mini Rhythm Machine can be expanded with an option pedal switch to start/stop and trigger fill-ins.
The box can also be connected to a PA or guitar amp via the headphone/speaker output.
The KR Mini Rhythm Machine will be available in december for a US street price of $79.99. More info at www.korg.com/KRmini.
