I played with Vic Firth 7A classic for many years.
I used Tama 7A and Pro Mark
The more grip prevents the rod from slipping in the hand, but that becomes a disadvantage when you start sweating hands, the feeling is very unpleasant. I have to reuse my good old VF 7A
