Mapex M Birch Standard 22"

I am the proud Owner 'of this model since December 2005 in configuration "December 22 13 16". I never jou on this brand before but have cost had the configuration MODEL "fusion" at the store closest to home, as the search for a baterra that "sounds" without artifice or cder MODELS fashion with lots of sustain. I immediately sduit t by its quality and value for money.

Plus: fts birch pais (7.2mm), full sound, and efficient gnreuse (sustain MODR)
The least: snare a bit "fuzzy"

I have several possd MODELS drumkit (medium and high end), from DIFFERENT manufacturers (the European and Asian) and diffrent wood species. MODEL REPRESENTATIVES this an excellent compromise in today's market, in terms of sound. The current trend is to thin and rsons fts. Birch was the price, and the level of accessories makes a great deal, when we can not afford to put money mirobolesques nothing in barrels ...
Even the snare is well made, it slams hard.
I think obviously invest in skin - (the plastic on the attack), but from the outset we can realize the potential, serious deep, powerful on the big bass drum and toms, sustain control over the rest excellent!

Notice for those who prefer to invest in a set with + good cymbals in a set of 3 toms for 2000 euros ... this model is for you!

Excellent for the price of birch fts l (+ supply "offered a tom") is INESPRE and choice of colors is large enough, and if you change the skins ( I personally opt for Evans Hydraulic (thud)), the M-Birch sounds of thunder!

Exprience with, you will do again this choice?
If I had the same budget: Yes!
This is a good mid-range, which is not envious of other 20 or 30% + Chres.
