I just bought this amp QSC plx 1804 to replace my old 1800 receiver Bose over 25 years and who had failed on an outing. Having taken years like him, there was no question of repair, his weight had become a major handicap (+35 kg fly). I hesitated a lot on the choice of model between 1804 and 1802. The light weight of 1804 (5.9 Kg) left me thinking that maybe I would be remiss of power to feed my four Bose 802. Finally it is the weight criterion that motivated my choice to the model 1804. Eager to test in real condition, I could measure its performance at the sound of a conference of 300 people. Having heard many good things about this material, I confirm that other previous opinions by adding it combines all the advantages of a dream amp, weight, power, sound, compact. Its side, it's important I found it very clean without staining majeure, to make me forget my old Bose without regret. It remains of course to discover in more difficult conditions but already he has convinced me of its potential.
I can only influence positively the person whose choice is not fixed and would not know quality QSC PLX2.
