I use it for over 5 years.

Previously, I had the AudioPhony. Even high end of that mark, the gap is wide ... wide!
I bought this PL224-hand who served in the large rental fleet of a friend among many other brand amplifier. He sold it for the sole reason of his power a bit weak on its use to pass the minimum PL230.

It was 1 year.

Of all that I could have in his hands, he is part of the best.
The sound is precise, clear, even on high speed for several hours after ... it flinch and it does its job.
Some large service line PL2 criticize for its lack of big bass under SUB. This is not fake ... but it is weak alims supplies.
Admittedly, some manufacturers are better but at what cost?
The question to ask is whether we want to pay for this lack.

For my part, I'm just very nice to what I provided for my whole Promann.

I also have a small RMX1450: the comparison is made quickly especially on the definition of sound on all frequencies but normal for the price.
Note however that the PL224 is smaller than RMX and 2 times less heavy!
I use one frequently MX1500a: here, the comparison is interesting.
The MX1500 offers less powerful power supply thanks to its traditional low rounder. Equal power, one could say that the MX is better on SUB.

Yes, but more a 10kg amp anyway so ... Again, the utility has you one?
Me, no.

I have already combined with a 230 in active mode: the whole is excellent.

What I like least? I do not think that what is best on the market is much more expensive.
The price / quality ratio is very good, especially new but secondhand.

No SAV for mine. Just the little routine maintenance that any material is supposed to receive. After 6 + years of service: is same as beautiful.
Even the connectors are versatile.
The scope of the Speakon 1 which can be used for 2 channels: I say bravo.
My system is equipped with selectors HORTUS feeding on Speakon, I use one regularly.

I would do this choice because of aillor YES, I want a 236 to get the same value for money with just a higher power for my system.

I hesitated for a better PL3 deemed low but I am informed that loses definition, therefore, I stay on the PL2.

Most therefore the weight, performance, definition, congestion, reliability
