In order to connect the XLR to the 3/4" jack on my camera, I purchased this adapter: https://www.bhphotov…n_xlr_female.html
The condenser-preamp(?) that comes with the Shure mic doesn't seem to be doing anything/working. I hear a faint sound when I hook it up this way, but its not really working. What am I doing wrong, what do I need to know and/or buy? I have already sunk a bunch of money into this and I don't feel like spending a whole lot more.
Please help!
