1 How do I get this to work?
I have purchased this: Shure MX150 Subminiature Lavalier Microphone (Wired XLR): https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/842433-REG/Shure_MX150B_C_XLR_Microflex_Cardioid_Subminiature_Lavalier.html/qa because I see the reviews and they are great!

I want to hook it up to my Saramonic wireless system, the mic it came with is not very good, but with out its great!

In order to connect the XLR to the 3/4" jack on my camera, I purchased this adapter: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1221867-REG/kopul_xrsm_015b_xrsm_3_pin_xlr_female.html

The condenser-preamp(?) that comes with the Shure mic doesn't seem to be doing anything/working. I hear a faint sound when I hook it up this way, but its not really working. What am I doing wrong, what do I need to know and/or buy? I have already sunk a bunch of money into this and I don't feel like spending a whole lot more.

Please help!

I think the short question is: How do I just hook this shure mx150 mic up to my camera?
