Made in USA. 20 frets. 2 jazz bass pickups 75.Un micro volume and a general tone. My bass has a maple fingerboard (mapple) with black inlays and binding. It has an easel minimalist settings with screws, but functional.
Flawless finish, either varnish, mechanical, binding, inlays. A magnificent instrument. Available only in "natural".

UTILIZATION

The American Vintage '75 JB is very nice and easy to play. The frets are perfectly fine and slide under the fingers. You must love maple keys, it is very different from rosewood. It requires a precise game. Some do not like the "coldness" of such key and prefer the roundness of rosewood. I like the feeling of "punch" that it provides.

SOUNDS

Fender American Vintage '75 Jazz Bass is suitable for many styles of music. The neck pickup delivers rock sounds and very greasy. The bridge pickup gives you sharp sounds in the extreme. It takes time to know how to manage the pots. They are not very accurate and the desired effect is at the end of the race. This is quite annoying. Over time we learn to manage but it must be very precise. I have this bass for 6 years and I learned to appreciate it. She has personality, it is not easy and flattering low at first. She does not forgive mistakes. It must be tamed. I first had to find the right height microphones. Indeed, at the beginning the E string really took too much over the other. And then I found the solution finally my solution, there qqs months in the amount spun flat. To my taste this is really what this reveals low. The highs are less aggressive and fret noise, and mediums are incredibly smooth. The pick attack is superb. It seems that it is known for a low slap techniques, but I do not practice too so I will not give an opinion on this subject.
Defect: the lack of safe bridge pickup. It has a beautiful sound when you put the sharp tone to zero, but it should make a very subtle balance with the neck pickup to give more scope.

OVERALL OPINION

I no speak english Of course, I played on a large number stupidness prior to the acquisition of JB '75. It is very good. The grip is immediately enjoyable, the paint is very soft. The sound palette is rich, but it takes control electronics not accurate. I love the nail very soft, but it is a bit fragile, we quickly scratched.
The price has increased over the last 10 months, and this bass is passed over the bar 2000 euros. It hurts! A tip for those who do not have the budget, check the side of the American standard. Below for finishing, but also big sound. Again, I make no sense because I can't talk. Have morning good. See later you!
