Overall
At first glance this instrument is well made and the factory setting correct.
Just one regret: I think the wood grain visible, very visible .. too obvious for my taste ....
UTILIZATION
As for the handle, I'm used to the jazz bass, and even if this Precision is slightly larger (42 mm instead of 38), the transition to this format does me no problem.
The weight of the instrument is very reasonable. Good ergonomics (no dip stick).
Access to Acute seems more difficult than on a JazzBass (but not going very often in the high ...).
Loving one's rocker, I served with the instrument and to my game, the range offered by the tone control me. After all, what I like the bass-like precision, is their simplicity.
SOUNDS
As mentioned my favorite style is the Rock, and I do not use effects (apart from a touch of saturation).
This bass is an excellent choice for this style but few also make the case for other styles if coupled an equalizer, and / or effects.
OVERALL OPINION
I instrument for a few weeks and it is one of my favorite both for its looks as for its "voice" and its simplicity.
The price / quality ratio seems to me correct date, remains to be seen as and when it is used. I do it again (s) that choice without hesitation.
