Eventide will unveil this Thursday at the NAMM the newest addition to its stompbox line of harmonizers: H9 Core.
H9 Core delivers the sounds of Eventide’s H910 and H949 studio processors used on stage by the likes of Frank Zappa, Jimmy Page, and Eddie Van Halen. Being an un-bundled version, it is aimed at people who don’t need all the effects of the first version. Nevertheless, all Eventide stompbox effects, including the brand-new UltraTap Delay and Resonator, can be added to H9 Core.
The stompbox features a simple, one-knob user interface, True Analog Bypass, MIDI, and a built-in tuner. Further, the H9 Core can be paired with the H9 Control app for Windows, OSX (via USB) or iOS (via Bluetooth) to create and manage presets and in-app purchases. According to the manufacturer, up to five H9s can be synced to a single Eventide.com account and share algorithms simultaneously.
The H9 Core will be available immediately after launch, but Eventide hasn’t made pricing information public yet. We’ll keep you posted!
