UTILIZATION

Use not super intuitive. A reading of the manual is essential in order to manipulate the minipandora. After that, its use is simple, it is virtually plug and play!

SOUND QUALITY

It sounds really digital! It's REMS what! Now for mobile use, why not.
Conversely, rhythm patterns sounds really good. It replaces a good drummer in his absence during a rehearsals!

Too low volume output. Its very very digital.

Like many people, I had the error code: MEMORY ERROR. Following discussions with the Hotline and manipulation that did not help, just to say we took into account your problem and did what we could !!! KORG advised me to go to an authorized repairer. As the cost of the repair will be more than the purchase price, this response is not satisfactory and frankly shameful for a large group such as KORG. This is not a design problem of misuse.

In summary, I highly recommend buying this product! This was my first purchase KORG, the VAS was not satisfactory it will last!

There are a lot of distos which are stored in patches. As often happens in this type of device, the patches are stuffed with reverb, delay ... You should know lighten everything.
An interesting point is that the Pandora can be powered by USB port, it avoids using batteries, because it eats the pig. In comparison, I have a Zoom G3 much more powerful and versatile that takes hours on batteries.
Please note that the USB port is not used to register. This is not a sound card.

UTILIZATION

Well, you have to read the instructions because there are only a few buttons that manage several parameters. But once read this manual, it is simple to set up. It is a bit long to edit sounds because you have to stuff all the parameters one after the other. You can change the presets and save them, and quickly recall by four dedicated buttons. I do not use a headset with the beast. I have not tested in an amp, but in my opinion, it should not be terrible. Most people forget too quickly that the simulations pedals are made primarily to be plugged directly into a PC or a console. I've never tested with simulations in realistic sounding amp. Or, disable the speaker simulation, which is possible on the Pandora.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound ... Well, it all depends on the intended use. I just wanted to work with on vacation. For that, the Pandora is perfect. Especially since the integrated drum is varied and rhythms are used, not as the BAR Boss I had before with convoluted rhythms to perfection and too rich. We managed to find drinking sounds, but it's much faster and breath sounds are digital, not bad but it is far from the dynamics of the amp, even a transistor. As I said above, I also have a G3 pedal Zomm, which costs not even double. Unrelated in terms of sound, with the G3 was the feeling of playing a real amp is very dynamic and the G3 is a real audio interface it. OVERALL OPINION

Most of the time, I use the Pandora as rhythm. For this purpose, even if the sounds are of the afternoon with a bit of reverb, the Pandora is perfect. But for about 100 €, emulations are no longer up to date. Competition is better in terms of versatility and realism. Frankly, if the size is not a decisive criterion, it is better to put a little more money and buy something else (eg G3 ) on the other hand, used for fifty euros, well worth stroke, be it for the BAR.

It is a true "digital Swiss Army knife." Rendering effects and simulations is bleffant. Connectable via USB to a computer, it can be programmed, ie create your own sounds, but the software is far from intuitive when saving.

Used with a Musicman Luke and Gibson Les Paul, the pandora mini has an excellent report on mixer and headphones but much less on spring tube amp where the digital side cold.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it used because I did not know this product. I kept 2 months or 4 hours of use but it was loose. You should know, for information on Anglo-Saxon sites and confirmed by the technical service Korg black box, there is a lot of bad series product. This translates to a display memory err on the screen and there is nothing more to do. If you're lucky enough to have the invoice, it is guaranteed for 2 years, but if like me you're not that valuable evidence, you spent nothing because even if the distributors in France is aware of this problem, is no commercial gesture.
You should also know that this product is already stopped and for good reason!

Anyway good product not to buy used.

UTILIZATION

Like any multi-effects that respects the child's use but requires some customization neurons and the manual is clear enough to get by.
the first 200 presets are those that we can change. I highly recommend editing via PC / Mac because we have a overview of settings. I met a problem: it is always the same effect but I change the "copy / paste" has saved me! Personally I use a Mac.

SOUND QUALITY

I use the Korg Mini is directly connected to my ROCKLINE LAG (model 1984) and a headset or via an Orange Crush 15R amp. In both cases the record is very good, I find the sound of my old Korg AX3000G.
Many settings of each effect can get the kind of sound you want. You can have almost all the sounds within your guitar!

OVERALL OPINION

It is a Swiss Army Knife for guitar: multi-effects + tuner + drum. Its only flaw: it does not offer alternate tuning.
I use it for 18 months, in addition to its qualities render effects, its small size is very significant and headphone jack for use "nomadic".

I compared it to a pocket pod and it does well ! (Since there is the drum machine and more and it is smaller, uses only a battery and a greater impact than a pocket pod ...

Cons: Battery life not huge (a few hours with a 1.5v battery) and the wheel might reveal itself a little smallish over time. some effects sound a little digital ..

Very happy with this purchase!
