So you want to rock out on a piano, but you have no space for a 9 1/2 feet long Steinway grand piano and it is 3am so the volume would not pan out anyway, the Roland F-110 has got your back.

It is a digital piano with recording capabilities, multi voice, pedals, weighted keys and it's compact with its own speakers.

I helped a friend find a piano that would work for him. He wanted a no frills, good sounding piano sound. Weighted keys were a must. These aren't cheap, the piano, stand and bench was $1200. I have played and recorded with it, a great unit!

The keys feel great. It sounds like a real piano. It is very compact. When set up, I believe is sits less than 10 or 12 inches out from the wall.

When you crank the volume up past 5, which is the halfway point, the speakers begin to distort depending on the patch and how hard you play. That is well, idiotic on a $1200 keyboard. I could accept it on a $120, but not a professional piano.

Well built. The case feels like sturdy wood. This thing has some weight to it. I do not think this would make a portable unit, but a great stay at home substitute for an upright.

Sit down and close your eyes, you will swear it is a real piano. The keys feel like a real piano and the sound is great.
