Many inputs and outputs on the FW.
For what purpose?
Applying effects Recording.
UTILIZATION
Driver sometimes capricious. The problem is well known (see Forum Avid and others)
Avoid standby.
More updated driver, Avid considers the machine obsolete.
I use 1024 sample latency under 44.1k. is 23.2ms. 50aine a track simultaneously readable.
GETTING STARTED
No problem.
Buttons in facade do not look anything but devilish practice. ie "mono" and "Alt Src to Mon"
OVERALL OPINION
For almost a year.
I had used these machines recording studio with ProTools (I use Ableton Live).
For that price yes. Namely, despite its good quality, this equipment is aging and no longer supported (which is largely lowered its rating). Nine for the price, there are much better now (with many entries, better preamp and DSP).
Namely: MacOS Lion, there is a problem with the driver CoreMIDI over medium noon.
