Can you make the Mono button in MixControl work for the headphones? - forum Focusrite Saffire Pro 40

I work out of my home studio and sometimes need to use headphones so as not to disturb the neighbors at night. I like to check my mix in mono which I can do with the Mono button in MixControl, but it only works for the studio monitors, not the headphones. Is there a way to make it work for the headphone out?
Here is something to try.
In Mix Control, turn off the DAW output/playback 1 & 2 at the far right of Mix 1 (or whichever mix is feeding your headphones). Then assign your DAW output/playback 1 & 2 to two channels in Mix 1. As long as your two new channels are not stereo linked, not panned, and the faders are both at the same level, then you should have your headphone mix in mono.
