External audio interface firewire port
34 entries (32 adat spdif 2) 36 outputs (32 adat spdif 2 2 balanced analog to +4 dBu) at 48 kHz, 96 kHz half, all in 24 bits. MIDI input and output channels 16 (although this is not why we buy it, is always ca). BNC word clock IN and OUT.
use: support for Digital (01V96 for me) to record what it comes out in adat. may otherwise be associated with octo pramp has connections adat
config: Asus A6 laptop pentium m centrino 1.86 GHz, 1GB RAM, disk recording external USB 7200 RPM 16MB cache
UTILIZATION
Simple Installation, no incompatibility has been reported. The config is done via a dashboard interface and dedicated it to is a childish simplicity. Manuel clear.

do not forget the update windows update unleashing the firewire port (885,222 kb) for best performance with any digital audio interface firewire port on

GETTING STARTED
Drivers stable dja Updated so that the interface has just been released. Used with cubase sx I get an 4 ms latency without stall 32 tracks for recording. I have not tried more (like 32 recording 32 read) but I think we can do aisment by increasing the buffer, which puts me in a 7 ms latency, always very acceptable.
I just this shade gives, do not forget that you need to add the latency of its console-output to that of the digital interface.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had a week I pass a whole evenings to the test with more and more tracks for recording and playback, not any stall or crash. It is the only external interface (very important when working on laptop) has to offer as much out of adat, therefore no other model tested tural and no competition now. The ratio quality price is pale, cheaper than my FA101 with 4 times of (even if not for the same purpose) is at the same time comprhensible as give come into direct numrique, the cost element in expensive audio interfaces namely pramp and converters need not be present on this map.
I would not do because no other choice concurrency, and produced really excellent in terms of performance offered.
EDIT: Now that I had the opportunity to listen to other things, I find that the converter output is blah, as purely subjective opinion eh ... Good for the price you can not really be blamed.
