8 large preamp with 90 db gain, 192KHZ, 16 I / O, and as dab the soft metric. I use it in the studio set, on the road since settled, and in making sound in small places, until full drill. My config is MBP17 unibody, logic 9, 10.6.2. MIO is the principle of "mix in the box." No external mixer. Special dedication to the DI between the front of very good quality. The inputs and outputs are in DB 25 to save space and she eats the CTA without problem

UTILIZATION

Drivers very stable, regularly updating, incredible support is a problem. I mainly use Logic to overdub, otherwise the MIO software for simple recordings. Latency is completely inaudible, dj makes a facade with it without any worries! Recording everything can use between carefree and similar output, with the possibility to record pre and post insert for each between

GETTING STARTED

installation without problem (it's 3rd mas) no inconsistency, config Gnrale easy for pros or amateurs, the manual is very good, and many videos are available on the net.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 months and Ben is the killer! I referrer that choice without hesitating a moment. I sell all my preamps those currently so they sound! They are fast and specific on particulirement (caratctristiques very important) and with carachter in soft we do what we want. What I like most the preamps, the characters, the soft , the quality rarely encountered elsewhere Gnrale. What I like least, maybe the lack of DSP power of 4X. they are aware and bossent over elsewhere. I referrer this choice every time my wallet permits .....
