Thread Focusrite Scarlet 4/4 Audio Drop out in Cubase

pls help,
I have just installed the USB Scarlet system and have huge Audio drop out problems when recording. I have no
proplem running 20 vst Synths but can't record e.g a Mirophone via the soundcark with a buffer under 1024 which is cracy. I have the feeling that USB speed is the problem but cant figure it out. Got it connected to my USB3.1 port and also tried other ports. My last chance will be an PCI USB 3.1 card that i just ordered. Running on a i7 9700 with 32gb RAM.
Anybody had these issues or an idea what i can do ? Never had any problems with my 10years ol delta card.
