Menu: 5 knobs for the primary circuit: Volume, Tone, Sustain, Attack Gate
2 potentiometers to secondary lecircuit (mids) and Level Freq
1 Bypass General
1 footswitch to engage the Mid tour
1 switch lever called Q (it is on the mid)
1 switch lever called Bass Boost / normal
a Jack socket for pedal Expression

UTILIZATION

The general configuration is it simple?
a 5 year old can make it work ...

Editing sounds and effects is it easy?

is turned and it's Ok

The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
totally unnecessary given the ease of use ..

SOUND QUALITY

I separated a Big Muff Pi, there are two years for a simple reason: I could not get a clean sound ... it was either Deaf or nasal ...

there are fifteen, I bought a Big Muff Sovtek that I could keep 3 days, without doubt for the same reasons ...

it's seeing the video presentation of the Deluxe, I had a revelation! Finally, they added a parametric EQ to change the color of the Big Muff !!!

This addition changes everything! I can finally have a well-loaded midrange and bass and, unlike its big muff base, it is possible to have lots of settings that sound to death!

you want the sound of Gilmour in Pompeii, it is possible
you want the big muff like no other, it is also possible!

the attack function is very effective at low speed

three button Tone (Tone and Level freq) are interdependent and offer a truly different and usable wide variety of sounds!

with the bass boost engaged, your eDeluxe Big Muff becomes Monolithic!

if you plug an expression pedal, you get a sort of Fuzz Wah!

Have you tried many other models before buying it?
an old model (The Violet), the Sovtek, the PI, the germanium and the Tone Wicker ...

this one surpasses them all!

pity they are not out there 15 years ....

ps: in attached, I made you a range of home settings (they are not in the manual ...) Gift of the house!

We find the Big Muff Pi NYC with Volume Control, Tone and Sustain and the Bypass.
And more: 1 switch Bass Boost / Normal, 1 control for the attack, 1 "Noise Gate", one parametric midrange EQ consists of two control buttons, one Hi Switch Mids / Lo Mids and an on / off footswitch .

UTILIZATION

Not really need instructions, you can see immediately what are the various controls.
We have the opportunity to add to it an expression pedal to control the media.
The "Bass Boost" is useful if you play at lower volume.

SOUND QUALITY

ITS HUGE !!! It was always good sound with this pedal, there has to choose what you want.
Adding controls of mediums is a definite plus to change the nature of the beast, or to perform a midrange boost on a solo ... etc.
As in the standard version (NYC), it's hard to break into a mix without having to "boost" a little (The Big Muff love it!).
The "Noise Gate" is effective but sometimes prevents you to have some "end of notes" that range, typical Big Muff (BCP used by Mr Jack White).
The sound is less clean than with a conventional Fuzz (Fuzz Face-type) but it is going in the right direction ... And there's this oscillatory effect / chaos that is not found elsewhere!

OVERALL OPINION

It was the classic Big Muff Pi USA but much more versatile!
