No installation problems. You place the CD and you just have to wait until the install completes. No incompatibilities encountered, especially since I realized afterwards that the 2007 was still present on the SD.

The manual seems a little inadequate, especially for the MIDI.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Config ':
CORE DUO-2 (2.13 ghz)
-2 GB of RAM
-XP SP2
-1 SD 80 GB + 1 SD of 320 GO
-NVIDIA 8600 GT
REALTEK HD-
LCD-22 "

No problems with this config apart few crashes (see below).

OVERALL OPINION

I use since 2 months via card digital audio Behringer (inputs and outputs RCA / liaison USB).

Strengths: This is a comprehensive studio next to the prize of plug-in effects that make their job very well and can even stimulate creativity (Elastic Audio). Virtual instruments are very interesting and usable as is. The MIDI part also seems very complete, even if the manual is a bit terse on the subject. Editing audio is simplicime and, in general, I prefer to clearly SAM08 CUBASE. But this is only personal opinion

Weaknesses: presuqe nothing if not a crash in formal-generated effects "Vintage Suite" when they are manipulated during playback of a track. A unless it is in my config? But that surprise me:

Anyway for the price (between € 50 and € 60) quality interface and sound large quantity effects (and possible integrate others VST and DirectX) that go beyond simple gadget, you can buy eyes closed!
