Mesa Boogie introduced at Musikmesse 2014 three new effect pedals that are all equipped with its famous 5-band EQ.

If you loved the 5-band V-Curve “Boogie” EQ on the Mesa Boogie amps, you can now get this EQ in a more compact form, thanks to three new effect pedals.

The Boogie Five-Band Graphic offers the equalizer alone, and you can adjust the input and output levels, both with +6dB boost or –40dB cut. The EQ sliders allow for +/-12dB boost/cut at 80Hz, 240Hz, 750Hz, 2.2kHz and 6.6kHz.

The Flux Five combines the famous Boogie EQ to the Flux-Drive overdrive effect and Mesa Boogie enhanced the tone versatility with two footswitchable Hi and Lo EQ modes; Lo reproduces the original Flux Drive tone and Hi offers more gain. The pedal also features +/-12dB boost/cut buttons for the highs and the lows, along with the graphic EQ, a Trim pot to adjust the Hi mode volume, a gain and a master level.

Last, if you like the Throttle Box distortion, the Throttle Box EQ combines this effect to the Boogie EQ. You’ll also find the Hi/Lo EQ knobs, and the internal Boost control has been moved to the front panel. A Mid Cut is preset, along with a Hi and Lo level knobs, a tone and a gain.

The three pedals can be powered with 9V battery or external supply and feature a true bypass. No information regarding the pricing.
