SOUND QUALITY

OVERALL OPINION

I have tried many models before: Boss MT-2, Ibanez Jemini, different distortion and overdrive with Zoom (the best I've had before), but this is far ahead of everything else, even the eyes closed it sounds like the lamp, this pedal is simply the best I could possèder, plus it's versatile: you can simulate the Fender, Marshall, Mesa Boogie's, and what grain, what heat, what power , metal, rock, hard rock, blues, she swallows all!
Why deprive yourself of such a jewelry when you do not have a tube amp so cumbersome and expensive?

OVERALL OPINION

After having tried other solution SansAmp really amazed me, I love the sounds! Connected directly to my stereo lounge (with HP Alesis MkII), the foot!

I recommend it 200% -> simple, intuitive, great sound!

UTILIZATION

The config is very simple, input, output and DC9V (type boss) for the PSU.
The manual is useless for the most part except the basic adjustments that give some very convincing sound without the fuss, these are pure tracks find a good sound right away and they work!

SOUND QUALITY

I said the ultimate configuration: I had rather enough of me lugging a tube amp weighs a dead donkey, effects etc. Here, I have associated with my Roland JC55 ... and here is a good amp and relatively neutral faithful takes on a tube amp, of twin or bassman ... clear sound even more beautiful with a warmth and a resurgence of bass that are less common because of the HP 8 inches!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month (well I got mine for a month if I had the bad habit of borrowing from a friend for some years. Associated with a transistor amp very true this is amazing!
I tried many configurations such digital GT8, 10 and 100 recently, I tried the vox, the zoom, nothing much convinced me that this little box.

The unit was purchased through Musician's Friend for around $200 a year or so ago.

Very solid and well built. Simple controls, but a variety of choices and the sweetest tube tone I've heard out of a preamp box yet - and that includes that POD!

There's really not much to dislike except for the fact that you have to actually touch the unit to change amps or cabinet settings. There's only one foot switch. It's great for recording, though.

Built like a little tank. Everything from the knobs and the housing to the footswitch and input jacks.

If you're into direct recording or playing through a PA system, I don't think you can go wrong. Although the unit doesn't include any effects it does what it's meant to do very, very well. You can always chain effects before or after the preamp.

I board sold the mine for a Pod 2. So in comparison, the pais is more than the Pod 2 and I find it more ractif to change in the guitar playing.
It sounds more limited in range but gives ample plain as drive.
My complaint: It blows a lot.

OVERALL OPINION

In résumé: Beautiful and well pais trsractif the game wide palette that can adapt any style. It should be a good noise gate absolumment derrire.

This case is just amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Live, I use it only for saturation (the clear sound is obtained by the preamp combo of my ....) And here let me say it sounds any lamp is hot, straight and accurate . The sound of my Start is fully respected in all its nuances and according to the power of the attacks of my right hand ....

I buy the GT2 to its release and since I can not do without .... This replaces the receiver and other MESA SOLDANO I would not have to buy (for my Top banker !!!!! !) for a price insignificant given the price of branded products mentioned.

Let's seriousness, if you want to record a sound approximating the sound of an amp lamps, there is the SansAmp (I think the GT2 is as good as the Classic even if poss under rglages).
You plug your guitar in the GT2, the latter in your console, add a supper of reverb (and delay ..) and is the top. The GT2 excels in Fender and Mesa sounds ..

I've had six months, buy a misra next to what she reported.

Well, after reading some rather critical view on this pedal, I can not help but give my own experience.
I've been playing since 25/30 years, without ever trying to become a virtuoso, I had the opportunity to have or to test a lot of stuff, being always more demanding.
The Sansamp is one of the first amp simulator manufactured, and is still classified as such. We can only note that in this area, technology has progressed cosidérablement and the SansAmp is exceeded by products like the Pod, the Tonelab, and others.

on the other hand, in use distortion pedal, it's a killing. Plupard the pedals have a sound all their own, with the possibility of rather limited settings.
Do not forget the inclusion of the guitar used. A distortion that sounds warmly with a Start with a dirty can seem well-typed Gibson ...

Reading the posts there is a big misunderstanding.
The SansAmp was a revolution, it was the first pedal amp simulation.
But from the pod are reached, provided specifically for recording.

I was used in recent numerical simulations that ring of hell with several dozen simulation, 3-band equalizer and a whole army of effects (reverb, chorus, delay, flanger ...). Faced with such an arsenal pedal may seem ridiculous.

I use this recently to replace a line 6 to attack a sound card and I am pleasantly surprised with the result.
I connect to either a leisure or a guitar p90/sh2 greenbullet or DO21 for harmonica.
The GT2 offers a wide range of amplifier easily recognizable and sought after for their uniqueness. Is that the happiness of grind just 4 knobs and 3 switches.

I like the British and Tweed amps clean mode with the drive to two-thirds ... rock, punk, blues, everything from good.

I plugged the case of a live sound card ... a lot or more. (amending .. not so good in fact live in LEPC)
