My predecessors were very well presented!

I said nonetheless that this pedal was recovered at the bottom of the attic and probably more than fifteen years.

UTILIZATION

4 knobs and 3 buttons, to full of different sounds, nothing wrong side of it!

Say compared to pre-amp simulation, we have a lot fewer buttons and the touch of a parameter changes the sound of a very significant way.

In short, for me with analog you really feel that the case live from the digital style pod, ToneLab or Vamp.

SOUND QUALITY

I tested a large number of numerical simulations (V amp, POD, ToneLab ...) and what I love about them is that it sounds now and in anything but the biggest complaint is that the dynamics of the guitarist is often damaged, ie the light rhythmic accents or nuances. This is not a defect because it helps hide imperfections in the game

With the GT2, it is in the world of analog, and as soon as I plugged for the first time on a table or on an amp I did not say "It sounds to death this box!" as for the POD or the ToneLab.
I just said "fuck it sounds like a good amp!" and that's his forte
We are in a range of sounds raw and unadorned rock and roll and you find yourself playing long on a simple sound. For me the name of preamp / amp simulator is fully justified.

We move from the blues, British rock, hard rock and metal of the 80 in a movement of fingers ...
It would be the ultimate weapon if there was a little reverb and more!

OVERALL OPINION

I was used in recent numerical simulations that ring of hell with several dozen simulation, 3-band equalizer and a whole army of effects (reverb, chorus, delay, flanger ...). Faced with such an arsenal pedal may seem ridiculous.

Indeed, it is analog, then sends the breath, sizzles by touching the knobs (I recall that this pedal has more than fifteen years and has been dusted!). In addition we have a 2-band equalizer and few simulation (27 combinations to max!)

on the other hand, it produces a true to my game, a raw sound amp rock n 'roll that smells of stale smoke and alcohol. And this impression, I've never felt on a digital simulator. Which brings me to say that it is suitable for a certain category of musicians who are looking for a type of sound by purchasing this pedal.
While a buyer Pod seeks above all to be able to do it all!
Used on a stereo, a sound recording or PC, I must admit that I can not part with it.

The overall opinion is therefore linked to the subjectivity of each, in my case it J'adooore!
With the unit, plan to limit a slight reverb, you tell me the news!
