Booster / analog buffer

UTILIZATION

Simple: one volume.
Volume to the minimum: only the buffer is enabled.
Volume set: very gradual 0 to + 30db about.
A place at the beginning of the chain, or just after the OD.

SOUND QUALITY

Its clean until it stops. With a slight, very slight staining or 'magic touch' like the color can be achieved with an EP booster. A tiny grain that boosts attacks while remaining very respectful of the original signal.
I use an Ibanez SZ320MH for jazz-funk, a Les Paul Epiphone Genesis for jazz Tele for a pop, and with my acoustic steel & nylon amplified.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a week. I tried the MXR Micro Amp without being convinced. I finally also uses a TC Electronic Spark Booster, trailing to correct EQ and volume.
The buffer works perfectly, the 'clean boost is super efficient: this will never leave my pedal board, it is 100% certain.
Its a still intact and a touch of magic to € 80 why deprive yourself?
