Truetone Liquid Chorus

Well, this is the first notice was necessary for someone to deflower all!

This is a pedal analog chorus.
It takes up little space in a pedalboard and is aesthetically very pretty.

It has two outputs:
-A classic standard output in mono (one output to left or top depending on your point of view).

- A special output:

In the interior of the pedal, there is a trimpot for managing the output of the second pedal.

We choose to use the second output as a stereo output or output Dry (no effect).

The pedal is not true bypass but the buffers are of good quality, so it has its place at the end of the chain.

The switch is very "nice", no need to press like a nag into place.


Brief characteristics level, it's pretty spot on!

UTILIZATION

The configuration of the pedal can be confusing those who are accustomed to the classic chorus. 4 knobs are available here:

A knob-SPEED: Controlling the speed of rotation.
A knob-WIDTH: Controlling the magnitude of the effect.
A knob-DELAY TIME: Controlling the time between EVERY vibrations. Because in a chorus, I do not know if you noticed but there is a slight tremolo such as a vague what. Well, the DELAY TIME knob control that party.

A knob-DEPTH: Controlled depth of the effect, it also controls its presence in your sound.

So there are a variety of sounds available!

It might be necessary in MOST of most, a TONE knob to adjust the tone of the effect and frequency boost or diminish.


Oh yes flaw: on the knobs, the settings are hard to see.
In fact, I think in the dark, it becomes very difficult to identify.

I have not tried it yet, but I think this is a real problem.

The aesthetic has taken over the practice here I feel.

SOUND QUALITY

The Chorus has a multitude of effort is its strong point:

It is small and offers a wide range of sound enough. Of course, all these sounds are very good quality!

It can easily make great chorus standards in the genre: Purple Rain - Prince, the chorus of Police Andy Summers. So the chorus typed 80's, it knows him!

Then it can easily typed in the chorus of blues type of Stevie Ray Vaughan. With the depth knob, you can set a low chorus not to eat too much and keep the blues side and not "music of the 80's who discovered the effects modulations."

Finally, it can (that is, its in my opinion) to the chorus very special, very personal. As a kind of vibe. Or very Wobble, as a kind of Leslie might have drowned (that is particular that, to love ...).

In any case, it's a chorus that sounds very good, it is very versatile and very effective.

This is my chorus because I knew he could do it all without taking 3 tons of space on a pedalboard and without paying a price in excess of € 150!


However: A slight problem:

I did not test high volume (but I will not delay to do so) but Chorus, once engaged with the Depth knob between 3/4 and the total gives an impression of boost volume. It's not a big boost, but it is felt that it gives. In addition, the high frequencies seem slightly amplified me in this case.

I would check if high volume (live and repeats), this becomes a problem or not.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few days, I do not think post a review so soon, but since nobody did. I will update once I have tested repeats (in 5 or 6 days) and live (in 3 weeks, 1 month).

Otherwise, I bought it because I already had available chorus Chorus Visual Sound H2O V1 (which is a chorus pedal and delay), only delay this pedal 2 in 1 was not versatile enough, and therefore, I traded against a small delay this most versatile and Chorus from Visual Sound.

For the chorus Visual Sound I liked the chorus and the world is complicated and extensive than the delay, so once I found what suited me, I decided to keep it.

The chorus is very good, otherwise I would not have acquired! (Stupid sentence that's for sure ...)

In any case it Chorus is an integral part of my sound, boost this volume is less than that of H2O, while that of H2O is less bright, hotter.

Here the chorus is lush and bright enough (not too much eh, I do not like the sound too acute ...), lowering the Depth knob to half can regain heat. It also seems that lowering the Delay Time knob on regaining a little low, but it remains to be seen.


In short, this is a great chorus, I have not tested the masses, because I do not need this, I stumbled upon this chorus by chance (I bought the H2O for its delay but I eventually fell in love with the chorus ...).
However I do not think the sale or exchange for another chorus.

The chorus has a great sound, it's the perfect job, the stereo must be amazing, and it is small, rugged and beautiful.

This is an excellent product!
