Optical compressor for guitar and bass.
very simple at the controls: volume and level of compression. Note 0dB/-15dB an attenuator, in push-pull (which may not result practice).
The case is of solid construction is built to last and deposit. It is the length of a housing boss and a half times that same box. In short it does not take place on a pedal board!
UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY
The optical compressor is completely transparent, does not cut the bass (useful for bass guitars), and does not color the sound. It is the opposite of the EHX black finger, for example, which can distort the sound so nice, but that adds too much wind for me.
The novice will think that this effect is not used much, given that a priori its presence does not feel. But just cut it for 5 minutes to feel that something is missing ...
It does its job and nice way.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 1 week, 2 + group repeated use in a home studio.
Like its transparency, its compliance, the fact that we feel something is missing in her when not activated, its simplicity, robustness, its price (bought OCCAZ).
