the typical Boss, no adjustment of the medium, but simple and robust as usual

UTILIZATION

Use simple, manual dispensable for trying, there are combinations that sound soon ... and those that are best avoided!

SOUND QUALITY

then, my opinion will be mixed.
I first plugged in my VOX lil'train and there ... how to say ... bin for a high gain pedal, CA does not send the very heavy. the amp is rather vintage and association with this pedal does not suit him at all. is flat and without any real interest.
So, I try in my Blackstar HT5, and, BIM, full ears.
taking care not to push above the gain at 3 / 4 (otherwise, it gets mashed!) was distortion pedal for playing modern metal to the System, Slipknot, and even more ... grrr ca, ca tweet, it sounds serious!
and exactly, speaking of serious, this pedal seems s'acomoder low tunings. I tried E, drop D, drop C, drop B, anything goes (within the limits of the amp)
It took place in my pedalboard next to my Metal zone (much heavier) by offering me a range of sounds that I was not with the metalzone or distortion of the amp. I note, therefore, correctly assuming that the pedal is intended for fans of modern sounds

OVERALL OPINION

I've had 3 months. Its a modern, especially the lack of adjustable limit the medium option, which accommodates many a modern amp.
To avoid unpleasant surprises, try it with your hardware.
value for money too much because it is not worth the € 109 OCCAZ but there are ways to find a bargain.
