« Boss HF-2 HiBand Flanger »

This is the pastel purple flanger from Boss. I like this a little more than the BF-2 and BF-3 since it focuses more of flanging your high end. This muddies things up a bit less when your lows and mids are left alone.

Knobs from Left to Right: Manual, Depth, Level and rate.

I found this in my local guitar shop's used rack. I am always intrigued by pedals I have never heard of, so I gave this a test drive and instantly fell in love.

A green labeled Made In Japan Boss pedal for $40, heck yes!

I was immediately comfortable with Boss' switching, knobs, size and power.

The knobs made sense and I was quickly able to dial in some very usable flanges. I'm not going even pretend I didn't rip into Barracuda by Heart!

None whatsoever. I loved this pedal. I had to let it loose when my bass head died and I needed to fund a new one. This bad boy alone doubled in value and helped me get the amp.

Same quality you would expect from a Boss pedal. People will still be using these in a hundred years!

A true sleeper from the late 80s into the 90s. Don't pass up this flanger if you come across one.
